Sydney shafted in semi scheduling

Due to Queensland Roar’s home venue – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane – hosting a concert on Tuesday, Sydney FC have been forced to play the first leg of their semi-final series at the SFS, thereby losing any advantage from finishing above the Roar in the A-League. This is rubbish, pure and simple. If the Roar have difficulties securing a venue, why is Sydney robbed of their rightful advantage to host the second leg at home? If Queensland can’t (or won’t) find an alternate venue in Brisbane (or elsewhere in Queensland), then both legs should be played in Sydney. Just off the top of my head I can think of Ballymore or The ‘Gabba (Brisbane); Carrara (Gold Coast) or Dairy Farmers Stadium in Townsville as alternate venues.
