US Supreme Court Ruling may open way for additional NFL licensed videogames

IANAL, but it appears that a decision in the US supreme court may open the way for competition once more in the area of American Football videogames. The ruling describes how the NFL was violating anti-trust laws by striking exclusivity deals when licensing their logos, intellectual property and so on; which presumably will include their exclusivity deal signed in December 2004, which runs through 2012. This raises the possibility of there once again being multiple licensed NFL videogames which, in light of recent Madden games pretty much just treading water, could only be a good thing.
